Compassion , Unity , Survival , Family Aug 1st 2016, 21:21 Today I Want To Spotlight Feature Something That is Very Dear To My Heart.  And That's RSC Richmond Survival Camp.  Three Years ago 2 People Mckenzieky Aka Kenzie Numbers And George Orellana Many Know Him As Landon Edenbaum. Started out on a Small Journey Thinking nothing Would Come of it. But Seeing Children in the Kid community Struggling to find their place in the ever changing world that is second life.  Seeing Kids Being left behind , and going to traditional camps only to be outcast by cliques , if you were not popular or come from Prestigious well know families they  didnt want to know you . Soon Being left alone  for so long it became Habit and children forgot  what it meant to make friends and stopped being social all together , or if they tried it became so overwhelming  they would back down and crawl back into their nothingness.  Landon & Kenzie Wanted to Change this .  Leaving No Child Behind they Began RSC Survival Camp.  Choosing Different & Fun Themes Every one could enjoy.  By Putting a Bunch of Children into a rp place where they had no choice but to come together work as a team . there were no cliques , no race, no sexual orientation  non of that mattered . we were all a family working  together with one common goal to survive .  not just a life or death situation but you had to communicate even if it was tough and by communication you learn each others strengths and weaknesses , therefore forming unshakeable Bonds  of True friendship from the foundation up .  forcing everyone to cast everything else aside and learn new skills in building, and crafting things you would need , learning compassion all over again by lending a helping hand to someone who needed it  or lifting the spirits of a new friend . in this camp there is no death no rp death only survival at all cost. sure you may end up with a few battle scars along the way but anything worth having  is worth fighting for . This camp shows us what it is to be social again putting yourself out there even if it's scary as hell .  were living in a day and age in time where there is so much hate  and people hurting each other , doing everything they can to break you we all need to learn a little from kenzie and landon  and stop hurting each other instead try loving one another  lifting each other up with encouragement and a listening ear.  in the end what we walked out with was not just a new skills learning to communicate we learned to love ourselves again and accept each other in all our flaws  and we walked away together as a family . This Camp is and always Be free no child will ever be charged But doing all they do to make it an experience your child will never forget does take time and money and sleepless nights and days  kenzie and landon and the rsc crew work tirelessly for months  to make something special And they use their own money and time to do this So Any Donations Or Sponcers  Are Surely Appreciated More Then you can imagine .  So to the Children who were at RSC 2016  I Challenge you all to make a donation big or small  anything helps ..and  Plz take a moment to write a thank you note to all of the crew at RSC including the chaperons  who work so hard to bring us joy and entertainment  And to the children that will be there next year in 2017 we look forward to meeting you .  God Bless .  Here is a little of my journey to Neverland <3 Contact MckenzieKy Or Landon Edenbaum For More information.    Feed
