| 71. Animal Friends Feb 20th 2015, 00:53  Hello Little Sir's! (scroll down for the style notes) I have been busy busy lately in SL. I recently became a parent on big me so I have been thinking a lot about the different things that I liked to role-play as a kid and things that parents can do with their kids. So today I am talking about pets! A pet is a great thing for family role-play especially if the pet is interactive and requires you to clean the cage or feed them. Adding to realistic 'life lessons' about being responsible and what not. And also having a little friend. In SL they can make a super cute addition to a kids room or family room. I have shown here three interactive pets that I personally enjoy. I have my budgies sittin in their cage chirping away all the time! I am also holding two wearable animals that are not interactive but for role-play purposes they COULD be. You are only limited by your imagination. The budgies and frog are from a store called Free Bird. The budgies come in a huge range of cage colors and bird colors, They even have toys! These are gacha items so fun to collect a bunch. You can even have up to four in a cage at once! They are very simple to use too, just put out your cage and then put out your bird carrier or toy thingy and click to follow the directions. Once they are in the cage you have to click the cage to clean and feed the birds. If you don't feed them though, they get sick (friends and family can click to maintain your birds too) And then you have to buy some vitamins to make them better. Great for a realistic role-play experience. The frogs work in much the same way though with less accessories. The goldfish is from Sneek. This is one that has been around for a while now, and is awesome for role-play and a goldfish is a great first pet for any young child. This one you have to feed, and clean separately otherwise... your fishy friend may die and you will have to give it a viking funeral toilet style. This pet the owner of it has to click to maintain it. Although all little kids want a puppy or a kitten. Perhaps you don't have the room, or the prims for a larger animal in your SL-home, but hopefully you will find these cute creatures a happy alternative!
