I am one of the ones who grew up with Harry Potter, i read the first book in the 5th grade and saw the first movie in 6th grade. While i never finished the books past the 4th one (mostly for the fact that they got too big to carry in my purse >.>) I have seen all the movies and i recently re-watched the first 5 and finally saw the last 3 (yes yes i know, better late than never). I never really realized it growing up, but thinking back.. the series teaches very valuable lessons. Lessons that you can carry with you for life.. i think my favorite is the quote Professor Dumbledore said “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light” I think.. my favorite line from all the movies..comes to a 2 way tie, my first is from the first movie when Hermione says “I’m going to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed.. or worse, expelled!” and my 2nd is when Luna Lovegood says in the order of the phoenix “you’re just as sane as i am” but then again everything that comes out of lunas mouth is pretty funny.
