Proportions Challenge Questions:
1. Do you try and keep your avatar's body proportionate and similar to the "average" proportions pictured above?
I think my avatars body is average to what a normal two year old would be in the real world! At least that’s how I try to keep it
2. What do you dislike the most about the SL avatar mesh?
Dislike? Not very much! I suppose there are still some constraints on it that can be breached that will expand the horizons on it even further, as far as how things are rigged to the base avatars body so they move better but other than that, I love it!
3. Does it bother you when you see other avatars that are not proportionate at all?
Sometimes. I think a lot of us put a lot of time into our avies and then other don’t. But to each their own. That’s what this game is all about, we all get to pick our own path, what we look like, and how much effort we want to put into the end result.
Even though this is a virtual world and people can be anything they want to be, do you feel when they are in human form, they should try to keep their proportions close to average?
Well, I guess that depends on the way you look at the question. I dont think everyone needs to be perfectly skinny with blonde hair and blue eyes, no. But I don’t think everyone needs to run around like amazons with flexi hair that shines from 10 miles away either. But again, to each their own! If you’re happy with how you look then flaunt it!
