One year ago today, I started face it we suck with my bestie. A lot has happened over the last year, and it's been kinda hard, there's been the slow months and the months where all I could focus on was what would I post next. But all through that year you guys stuck with me and supported me, and it means a lot. Without my readers this blog would have no purpose. And I'm hoping that in the future, FIWS can grow and hopefully I can even get my own domain which would rock if I could. I've come a long way with you guys, in all sorts of ways, from styling the blog to photography and even the style. My titles have gotten less and less relevant, my avis have gotten older and their styles have shifted, mesh has evolved and prims are used less and less. Fashion trends change but in a way they stay the same. I really do have to thank all of you, because I would have never made it as far as I have without you guys and I probably would have never lasted this whole year. And I certainly wouldn't have made it to 14k views in a year.
Now as that craptastic logo above says yes, to celebrate today, Face It We Suck's first birthday, I'm throwing a give away. There will be 6 winners as it says, 3 child avis, and 3 adult/teen avis. And yes I'm robbing my bf's bank account in the process. So I'm going to be giving away over 5k in prizes for both categories. It will run from today as soon as this post goes up to May 7th. That is exactly 3 weeks from today so you have until then to enter. Winners will be announced on the 8th or the 9th of May and prizes will be given out that same week as soon as I can get in touch with the winners.
Now for the prizes, while it's hard to find stores that are unisex that have gift cards, it's even harder to find stores for kids that are unisex and have giftcards. So after much searching and deliberation, I decided the kids will just get cash prizes along with the other smaller prizes promised to spend where ever they want.

I WILL NOT BE CHOOSING THE WINNERS. Nope. I have a friend of mine, (who shall remain un-named) who will go through and pick out each winner. To keep it fair he or she is not allowed to pick anyone related to them in sl, or rl and they are not allowed to select anyone that I claim in SL as my family/friends, and I will not participate in the selection of the people at all. I don't want anyone to feel like the winners were picked because they had a connection so this is how I've decided to do it. Of course anyone who doesn't win is welcome to hate the winners if they want cause after all they suck, right? ;D
